Single Umbilical Artery

Hi mummies! Anyone who has had experience with this diagnosis of single umbilical artery? Wondering if it’s a cause for concern, and what should I look out for/monitor in my final few weeks of pregnancy?

I had a friend who was diagnosed with this during her third trimester, and her gynae monitored the baby more closely with extra growth scans in the final weeks, so that is probably something your doctor will arrange too. Definitely bring this up with your gynae at your next appointment and ask specifically what their monitoring plan is, just so you feel reassured going in.
