Parkway East hospital

Parkway East is quite well-regarded for its maternity experience, the nurses there seem to be a real highlight, with mums describing them as genuinely caring and attentive, which makes a big difference especially in those first overwhelming days postpartum. Someone in my mum group mentioned the maternity ward has lovely floor-to-ceiling windows with natural light, which makes the room feel less clinical and more comfortable for a longer stay. One thing worth knowing is that the maternity ward is a bit of a distance from the delivery ward, so you will be moved after delivery, but apparently there are porters and nurses to help with that transition. Overall it sounds like a solid step up experience-wise if you want something more personal and less busy than TMC, though TMC does have a bigger paediatric setup on-site, so it depends on what matters most to you.
