What nonsense did that nurse tell you 🥸. I have inverted nipple on one side and the nurse told me to start with the inverted side (for your case, any sides) for latching to make baby work for it. It will be harder but doable, just have to keep trying. Initially baby will get frustrated cause it’s harder to suckle and harder to get milk but eventually will get used to it.
Overtime be it latching or pumping, your nipple will get pulled out.
