Aiyoh, I feel you lah, 35 weeks with backache somemore, really not easy! My friend who delivered last year also kena the same thing, her private gynae told her there's apparently some new MOH guideline now where HL is only given if you're actually hospitalised, not just for outpatient visits, so it's not just your gynae being difficult lah. So honestly got trade-offs lah, private gynae more personalised but stricter on HL now, restructured hospital may have more flexibility but less continuity of care. Definitely worth having a direct conversation with your gynae or even getting a second opinion from a specialist to see what options you have for your situation!
