Anyone else skip their folic acid due to nausea?

Hi mummies, anyone else skip their folic acid pill when they nausea? I been taking at night before bed time and for the first time I throw up everything after taking my pill.. I can’t take it in the morning on empty stomach or even after a meal as I’ve been taking it at night. And currently, I stop taking my pill for 3 days afraid of throwing up again ?

You don’t have to take it at a fixed time. Just take it anytime during the day when you’re not nauseated? It’s quite important for baby’s development (related to nervous system) for the first trimester. Or you can also get anti nausea meds:) and take the folic acid after that. Hope you feel better soon!

I skip folic acid pills too.. My morning sickness is really bad, lasts for the entire day. My gynae prescribed me Ondansetron to curb the nausea and I take 1 pill daily. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn’t.
