Diclectin

Hi Mummies, anyone here on this dicletin medications on 2nd trimester and has stopped taking it? Any sides effects on managing vomiting? Cause I thought of stopping the medication now since my appetite has increase nowadays. Apart from that I felt that my tummy seems still Abit small for 5mths. So I'm gonna keep on eating. Just worried for the baby's growth.

I vomited for 1 day after I stopped diclectin around 16th week, then I still felt nauseous for 2 weeks, but no vomiting. I really wanted to stop taking it. Now no more nausea 🙏🏻 But for me it was never too bad, I was only taking 1 pill per day. If you take more, maybe try to reduce the dose first.

if your baby is not growing well your gynae will highlight to u so don't have to eat too much. First pregnancy tummy is usually smaller in size compared to those in their second and subsequent pregnancies

My friend took Diclectin all the way until birth! I stopped during the second trimester since my appetite picked up. Now and then, I just eat sour candy or a Fisherman's Friend when I feel nauseous 😄
