giving birth at KKH subsidised route

hello mummies! anybody went through giving birth at kkh under the subsidised route? how is the process like? must i prepare alot of stuffs? what wards can we chose to stay in? #advicepls #firstbaby

U will see different doc each time u go for checkup. Always need to shuffle between a few places during the visit. Subsidised route wont have ultrasound at every visit. Go to AMC (Antenatal Monitoring Clinic) for ultrasound -> take weight/blood pressure/urine test for protein -> wait to see doc -> take medications.

U cant choose b1 and A if u are under subsidised.. each checkup is probably a diff gynea.. the stuffs im nt sure what u talking abt to bring or to use at home..

Subsidy patient will be under Clinic C and no specific doctor however all your record will be on system.But of course if you have any doubt you may ask the doctor present during check. You can only choose B2 ( 6 beds ), C ( 6 beds ). You may look at the link here : https://www.kkh.com.sg/patient-care/room-rates For labour bag, just bring you and baby home clothes, swaddles, toiletries, breast pad, maternity pad, whatever documents needed for registration (if any)
