You can consider hosting at indoor playgrounds like explorerkid if there are a lot of kids joining. They have a package that comes with play time, cakes and some finger food for kids at reasonable price. They have simple parties or themed parties. http://www.explorerkid.com/birthday_parties Downtown east new chalet have a function room for minimum of 30 pax for 4 hours with food and drinks catered. Included with PA system and in house dj. http://www.dresort.com.sg/meetings-events/social-events-parties You can also consider having a chalet party and cut cost by having a bbq instead of a buffet. I'm doing this!

How about the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden located within the Botanic Gardens? It is a gorgeous space with a sensory garden, a mini-suspension bridge and a treehouse. You don't need any extra decorations and the space can hold up to 80 pax. You can book 4 hours for $103 at either 8am – 12pm or 1pm – 5pm. Best to book this space early as it is very popular. Book the space online here. https://www.sbg.org.sg/index.php?option=com_rsform&view=rsform&formId=4&Itemid=353

How about a chalet? For example, D'Resort @ Downtown East. Can double up as a mini staycation or have different small groups over two days for a more intimate get-together. There is also the option to book the BBQ area as the birthday celebration venue. http://www.safra.sg/enjoy/chalets-villas/dresort.aspx#.VztIaWazj3U
