Mucus plug

Ay, ang mucus plug is super different from regular discharge, sis! Regular discharge is usually clear or milky and watery, pero ang mucus plug is thick, gelatinous, and sometimes may tinipid ng blood (which is totally normal). It's like a cork na naka-seal sa cervix mo throughout pregnancy, so pag nawala mo siya, that's usually a sign na malapit na mag-labor, pero dapat pa rin i-report mo sa OB mo agad para ma-monitor kung kelan talaga mag-start ang labor or if there's anything else going on. A few of us moms nag-panic dito lalo na first-time, kaya wag mag-alala, normal lang yan, pero definitely call your doctor para sa peace of mind mo!
