Oh wow, that must have been such a stressful experience at 32 weeks, I really feel for you. I have not had a classical c-section myself but I know a friend who went through something similar and she said the recovery took longer than a standard c-section, so she really had to be patient with herself and accept all the help she could get during confinement. Her subsequent pregnancies were all closely monitored by her gynae because of the uterine scar, and she was advised to plan for elective c-sections for future births rather than attempt VBAC. I think the most important thing is to have a really open and ongoing conversation with your gynae so you understand what to expect and feel supported through all of it, you are definitely not alone in this journey lah.
