Is it selfish to move out of my parents house?

I am an only child. Married with one baby. Currently living at my parents' house since they said that the house will be given to me anyway then why not we all live together. But some part of me wanted to move out because it feels like I am not a married woman and I am not a mother to my son. I am only a daughter to my mom. Don't get me wrong I love my parents so much that's why I'm feeling guilty for having this desire to get out of their house and totally live with my husband and son. But I don't know how to tell them I wanted out without hurting them. Please help me. #advicepls

Hindi yan selfish, mama, it's actually healthy na gusto mong mag-establish ng sarili ninyong household with your husband and baby, yan ang natural progression ng family life. I totally get the guilt kasi only child ka and your parents are generous, pero being in your own space doesn't mean you stop being their daughter, it just means you're finally stepping into your full role as a wife and mom, which your parents would probably want for you din if you talk to them honestly. Maybe approach it gently by explaining na gusto nyo ay closer relationship with your husband and son, and of course you'll still visit and include them, a lot of mums I know found na their parents actually respected them MORE after they moved out, parang finally recognized them as adults. The guilt is normal but it's worth it para sa peace of mind ninyo as a family.
