Could be just a mosquito bite. I wouldn't worry unless he keeps scratching. Nonetheless, just make sure he doesn't scratch and to keep the area clean and dry.

It seems like a mozzie bite. Baby skin are more sensitives to bites. Apply calamine lotion if baby seem to be itching

don't worry about it. let it heal on its own. should be fine.
