Newborn Fever

Moms!!need help. Will my LO whole body be hot when shes havibg fever or only certain part of the body? Perhaps just the tummy and head?#1stimemom

Babies are naturally warmer than us and sometimes that’s perfectly fine:) Maybe you can get a thermometer to check the temperature objectively, so you can see if it’s a real fever? If it’s real, then you can try tepid sponging to bring the temperature down. And most importantly, keep baby well hydrated with breast/formula milk:)
