Moms, were some of you not really domesticated when you got married (couldn't clean/cook/do laundry/etc)? How did you adjust?

I didn't know how to cook, but I really want to learn how so I watched videos on youtube and search on the web. Thankfully my husband likes my cooking so that's great. Hehe :)
