Birth control pill while breastfeeding

Any mommy took birth control pill while breastfeeding , are we need to stop giving milk n how long once we take the pill.. share your experience mommies. For doctor say 5days, but bit difficult in pumping milk as I am having clots if can’t feed baby pumping not helping me much so .. 5days is bit difficult May be..

Hi mama, Have you tried researching the brand of birth control and checking if it’s compatible with breastfeeding? Honest truth is, many of our doctors here are not very familiar with in depth knowledge regarding breastfeeding. Do check if it’s a hormonal pill or the contents and you can look it up.
