Hello mommies When did you all get your first period after having a baby? My LO is 3 n half months old and I just got my period. I have heard many gets after a year Does it has anything related to milk supply? Iam a breast feeding mom btw
I got mine at about 9 months postpartum. Yes, it will affect breast milk supply due to hormones changes. So for those days, you can either latch more or give frozen breastmilk if you have. Also, you can try taking calcium magnesium supplements.
Got mine at 9mo and the supply drop as can tell when baby wanted to latch longer and more often. But she was already on solid so I didn't worry so much as Im full time mom (latch on demand).
Think if your baby has enough wet diapers then should be ok.
9months pp. Some moms said the bm during period will taste different too but yes it'll definitely affect supply temporarily

Iam breeding too..but got period earlier..is it because baby doesn't get enough milk?
