So from what I understand, kailangan mo ng 3 months of contributions within the 12 months before your maternity benefit claim, kaya sigurado na mag-voluntary ka na para ma-cover mo yan, a few of us tried this route and it really works, pero importante talaga na updated ka with your payments! Since your EDD is Feb 2026, I'd suggest you start paying now and make sure you have at least 3 months covered within that 12-month window before your due date, pero honestly best if you call SSS directly or visit their office para ma-clarify exactly which months ang kailangan mo, kasi iba-iba ang situations and you don't want to miss anything para sa 70k benefit!
