As far as I am concern or aware, only with gynae are allowed. Never heard of subsidy patients on that birth position. Reason being is because we are attended by on duty doctor/midwife/nurse. Hence it will not be fix. Nevertheless, you may wish to further clarify upon consultation and check with them in regards to this. And also letting them know that this is your main choice of birth position. However, if this is not allowed then you will be laying down.
probably not because not all nurse/doctors are trained for alternative birthing positions.
