Subchorionic Hemorrhage
Hi mommies, Does anyone here experience having subchorionic hemorrhage during first trimester? How did you cope up?

I experienced it during my 8th week of pregnancy. During my ultrasound they discovered a pool of blood near the embryo, a few days later my body flushed it out and it looked like Aunt Flo just arrived. I panicked thinking I had a miscarriage so I immediately went to ER. i was advised to have bedrest for 1 month, avoid strenuous activities, avoid stress and long walks. My obgyne prescribed progesterone heragest to help thicken my uterine lining because it was shedding which may lead to d detachment of the embryo from the uterine wall. I also experienced active labor, it was painful and my cervix dilated to 4cm which she considered a threatened abortion of my pregnancy. My baby and I were blessed to have survived it - I will be on my 3rd trimester of pregnancy next week. ☺ Always seek professional help, do not hesitate to visit your obgyne if you experience any discomfort or anything that seem unusual. Your instincts will let you know something's wrong so stay alert, be courageous and follow your obgyne's advises. be extra careful and increase your water intake. Moreover, Pray and stay positive. God bless 💗
