Hi, Well! If your paediatrician has advised the baby antibiotics then he must have thought of something. I mean no doctor would prescribe a 3 month old baby antibiotics if they are not required. Trust your doctor and if in doubt then you can take a second opinion and can discuss the situation in detail with another doctor.
If it is prescribed by pedia, yes, because it is given to fight whatever infection the baby has.
