Maybe you’re still too early into your pregnancy that it’s hard to detect. I was sorta opposite from you. I went to the GP who did a urine test for me (even sent it to the lab) and came back negative. A week later, I tested with OTC pregnancy kit and showed I was pregnant. Went to my gynae to do a transvaginal scan to confirm my pregnancy and indeed I was 5 weeks pregnant at that time so the first time I was at the GP was about 3 weeks preg and too early to detect. Hope yours turn out to be good news soon!

I would say most reputable home pregnancy tests are very accurate when used correctly. They pick up the HCG hormone which is produced when you're pregnant. However, you may wish to check with your doctor if you usually have regular cycles to find out the cause of your late period if you're experiencing symptoms. lGood luck!

Home pregnancy test are not always accurate. I usually go to a clinic to check and get the right results
