OGTT - Nahilo before Blood Extraction

Hello Mommies!! Kwento ko lang, yesterday I was in the clinic for lab test, I was asked na mag fast and my last meal was 11pm, the blood extraction was at 7:30am the next day. Yung unang kuha ng blood, okay ako. And then I drink the glucose. Waited for an hour. Time for the next blood extraction, hinahanap ng nurse yung ugat ko, both arms. Then I started to feel dizzy, umikot panigin ko, may ring sound sa tenga and my vision started to black out. I was calm and praying. Sabi ko sa nurse nahihilo ako. Ramdam ko yung panghihina ng buo kong katawan. I hold on to arms ng nurse. And then I started to gag. They gave me a bucket, tapos doon ako nag vomit. After that, nanghihina pa din ako. Nilagyan nila ako ng pamahid sa noo at ilong… somehow gumaan pakiramdam ko, pinawisan ng malamig at bumalik na din yung vision ko and pandinig. I was scared kasi wala akong ganung experience sa first pregnancy ko. While it’s not new to me na mag pass out, kasi nahilo na din naman ako before. I was advised by the nurse na mag resume nalang kami on another schedule. Just sharing my experience with you moms. Not sure if may naging gantong situation din kayo, I guess I want to know and feel na I’m not alone in this and this is normal and part of pregnancy journey.
