Maybe your baby is just more attached to familiar people or sensitive to different ways of being held. Babies go through phases like this a lot, and it doesn’t mean she hates grandma at all 🥺
Sometimes babies cry because:
* grandma smells/sounds unfamiliar
* different holding style
* separation anxiety phase
* baby is tired/hungry/overstimulated
Tell grandma not to take it personally. Usually it gets better slowly with more gentle interaction, playtime, talking, or letting baby warm up first before carrying. Forcing it often makes baby cry harder.
