After giving birth

Hi all mommies...This is my first pregnancy so wanna ask to be prepared... I have heard if give birth in Gov hospital, if the baby is healthy, the nurse will let the mother take care of the baby until discharge... I wanna ask what's the process after normal delivery & c-sect... Do the nurses teach u how to handle the baby such as breastfeeding, swaddle, change diaper, baby bath, etc? Or it will be taught by KK nurses or I have to learn on my own outsource? If there's no milk from breastfeeding, do gov hosp provide milk powder? Bcos I have heard that cannot bring in milk bottle/powder as they encourage breastfeeding... Bcos husband only allowed during visiting hours so most of the time I will be alone, so wanna be prepared for it... Thank you...

hosp gov : husband boleh masuk LR time nk beranak nanti. nurse akan bgthu suruh call husband. if bersalin normal & takdek masalah pd baby, sebaik sje baby keluar dr bawah tu nurse akn trus bg dkt kita untk skin to skin dgn baby, lpstu nurse amek skjap untk cuci baby pakai pampers semua tu. if bersalin czer :- husband xboleh masuk, hanya boleh tunggu depan bilik OT. Lps baby kluar nurse akan tunjuk baby dkt kite, lpstu tnye anak laki ke perempuan. sbb kesan bius tu kdg2 buat kite lalok 😂. nnt after 6jam balik ke wad, nurse suruh bangun untk pergi ke toilet, salin pad semua then barulah baby diserahkan dkt kite. mcm anak2 sye dlu, mlm after czer tu nurse amek baby. dptlah sye berehat dgn ckup smpai esok pgi baru nurse pulangkan semula 🤭. ade sesetengah org susu xterus keluar after bersalin, kdg2 amek masa 1-3hari. just keep breastfeeding baby supaya bagi signal @ rangsangan untk breast kluarkan susu. dont worry if xreti nk bf, nurse akan guide kite semua.

after delivery, the nurse brought us our baby, at that time, you can ask her, "nurse, I want to breastfeed my baby, can you see and advise me whether I do it right or not? in the morning , nurse will help to bath our baby, at that time, you see how she do it, and also can ask anything related. and before delivery you can find any antenatal class either paid or free. you can ask your nurse at kk to breastfeed, you need a proper way to ensure your baby get milk. you can ask for a lactation consultant of that hospital.. once baby is delivered, skin to skin with baby, in the first hour after delivery, make sure your breast get stimulations whether sucking from baby if the baby with you or hand expression if baby warded or anything. breastfeed @ hand expression every 2 hours, whole day ya.. night and day

2xtimes czer at hospital putrajaya all the nurses is very helpfull. Pagi2 mandi dan bersihkan baby. Nak pergi toiletpun kalau nak diorg tolong panggil je nanti diorg datang. They do encourage bf but they provide formula if needed (in my case cause my baby still hungry n i'm sleepy n tired after cser )

Csec here, all on my own. I did ask the nurse to help bring me to the toilet cos the pain of Csec was unbearable, she said practice makes perfect & left

Saya yang miscarriage 5month pun nurse terkejut mcm nk marah sebab tak panggil dia nak pergi toilet, dia marah pergi sendiri. Saya ni gigih betul bangun dari katil dengan huyung hayang pening2 gagahkan diri gi toilet.
