Hi mommies, did any one of you visited reno site (for newly purchased flat) during pregnancy? There was no hacking at all though. I went when there wasn't any work carried out. However, i did went to visit the home for less than 10 mins to see the ongoing paint works. My mom kept saying cannot go see due to superstition of birth marks etc And it makes me really stressed and paranoid now. Any mommies did the same thing but baby turned out perfectly fine?

While I'm not a big believer in superstition, from a health point of view being I'm such conditions for a prolonged period can be unhealthy. 10 mins is not long and should have no ill-effects, nothing to worry about. As paint and reno sites have VOCs and dust, it is not good for your respiratory system. For further visits, can get them to make sure the venue is well-ventilated to reduce the risk.
