2months old baby

Hi Mommies. My baby is mix feeding BM and FM (Lactogen 1) since birth. Recently, I notice that she have difficulty to drink milk in the morning (same time daily). Is this because of FM? But after that she will drink normally (sometime can't finish). Her weight during birth is 3.15kg and now at 10 weeks old almost 5kg. Anything that need to be concern? Do I need to change her FM? She poo poo 3 days once. 60% FM 40% BM a day. 3 hours 90ml to 100 ml

Alamak, morning difficulty minum susu memang common dengan mix feeding babies, bisa jadi she's just not as hungry after tidur (especially if she had a good feed at night), bukan selalu the formula's fault lah. Her weight gain looks solid (almost 2kg in 10 weeks, very good!) and the poo frequency once in 3 days is actually normal for mix-fed babies, FM tends to make them poo less often than EBF babies, so that's okay je. The thing is, since she drinks normally after the morning struggle, I'd lean towards not changing the formula yet, unless you notice other signs like rashes, constant crying, or very hard poo lah. But I'd still suggest bring this up with your paediatrician during her next visit, especially to confirm the poo schedule is truly fine for her and get their peace of mind on whether a switch is needed, they can see her properly and advise better than online, kan? Meantime, try offering a bit of BM first in the morning since she might be more willing to latch than bottle, and see if that helps ease her into the day.
