Dilated without contractions

I have not given birth yet but I have a friend who only felt diarrhea kind of pain... went to the toilet and said she could feel baby's head... then next moment rushed to hospital by taxi.. but in the end gave birth in the taxi. everything just happened within like 1 to 2hrs.

Hi Mama, It’s possible to be a couple of cm dilated when you’re near the end of the third trimester. I was 2-3cm dilated for about a week before labour kicked in.

I had contractions at 4cm but I didn’t feel any pain strangely. Started feeling more at 5cm then took epidural. My waterbag burst too & still no pain

I was 2cm dilated at week 37 n had no contraction. it remain diluted till I deliver at week 39+5
