I had GDM with both of my pregnancies. Luckily, I didn’t have to use insulin but I needed to watch my diet and monitor by blood sugars everyday. I’m not sure on taking insulin plant but taking malunggay supplements did the trick for me. I started taking them at 34 weeks to prepare for breastfeeding but I observed that my blood sugars were always in the normal range even if I had any sugary desserts or drinks. 😅😂 Actually towards the end of my pregnancy, I just ate whatever I want. 😂😂😂 But I still monitored by blood sugars though. 🙂
I'm not sure po although nagka GD ako when I was pregnant. Diet lang po talaga sakin and monitoring nung sugar. Thank God naging ok naman.
