I failed to breastfeed 2 of my kids. The 3rd one i figured that truly just feeding on demand is the only solution. It is indeed tiring. Reduce formula as much as u can. Direct feeding is also better as it is less troublesome. Drink coconut drink for hydration. Really helped me a lot. Be consistent and you will see results in just few days. Just dont give up. And dont bother buying lactation cookies and such.
nurse/pump consistently every 3 hrs to tell your body that there's demand for milk, and your body will adjust to make more. other tips tt I find useful - drink a lot of water. After every pump, I drink a full mug of water. this is on top of whatever I drink throughout the day - power pumping
Are you taking domperidone pills? Other than that, I don’t think food and drink supplements are truly helpful. I have tried lactation cookies, brownies, nut butter, nut drinks and teas. All I believe were just placebo effect to me that kept me going.
