Should I feel guilty for taking leave to date my hubby

My mom is helping me to take care of my 4 mo baby during the weekdays. To consciously keep the flame alive, my husband and I decided to take 1-2 days off work each month to spend time with each other only. I couldn’t bring myself to tell my mother about this and will just pretend that I went to work as I feel it is hard to explain why I am on leave but still need her to help me with my baby... This makes me feel really quite uneasy & guilty. Pls share your opinions and or suggestions if It is bad of me to do this? Thanks much!

I'd do the same too if I really did not have enough time to spend with my husband. It's important and healthy for your relationship too! Maybe just give your mom a treat as a pleasant surprise or appreciation if it helps to make you lessen the guilt :D
