1. Read books regularly. Include this in his daily routine po. Picture books help a lot. 2. Tell him the name of anything na naiinteract nya. Encourage him to repeat the words, kahit malabo. 3. Sing songs together. Use Spotify na lang instead of YouTube. Pick those na may actions na kasama cos they're fun and masmatatandaan nya yung words, like Head Shoulders Knees and Toes. 4. Use daily chores and activities to talk to him and teach him stuff. Example, identify the colors of the clothes pag maglalaba or tupi 😁teach him names of fruits and veggies while eating, organizing the fridge, or cooking. 5. They won't understand a lesson po the way older kids do na 40mins straight. It's better to give them consistent practice everyday, especially when it comes to learning a language. They'll need constant practice to learn a word and associate that word with something. Just keep practicing po. 6. As for learning materials po, flashcards are often used pero depende pa rin sa bata kung saan sila nagrerespond. See what things he likes to do, and think of a way kung pano magiging educational yun for him. 7. In relation to #6 po, from my personal experience, my toddler started using Khan Academy Kids around 18 months. At that age parang wala pang 10mins a day, 3x a week. Now he's 2yrs 3 mos and he still uses the same app plus another one with Peppa Pig, around 20mins a day, 3x a week. They have interactive stories kasi, and many activities for reading, writing, logic, numbers, etc. I don't let him watch lang kasi it's too passive and parang nakatulala na lang sya. I choose those that would encourage him to think and interact with the app. 8. If you want po, you can enroll your kid sa online playschool. They can learn with other kids and other teachers. We didn't do this na kasi I'm worried na manood lang sya, and what I really wanted sana from a playschool was for him to have real social interaction with other kids. But Covid happened so kami na lang muna sa bahay. Good luck, mommy. I hope that these tips help. Syempre mag-aadjust pa si baby, so manage your expectations din po and as much as you're worried about his progress, try not to let it get in the way of having fun with him in the process. When he's enjoying, hindi nya namamalayan, natututo na rin pala sya 😉 If you have more questions po and I have time, I'll answer. I used to be a teacher before I became a SAHM kaya napahaba ang reply haha 😊
