Honestly, it's not too bad, masakit lang slightly during insertion kasi may local anesthesia sila, pero quick lang, like five minutes tops! A few of us mums got it after we finished having kids, and most say the cramping and soreness after is super manageable, parang muscle ache lang for a day or two. Best thing is you don't have to think about contraception for years, kaya sulit na. Pero if you're worried, definitely ask your OB beforehand what to expect, they can walk you through the whole thing and make sure it's the right choice for you!
