Is Manila Zoo still attractive as it was once before?

I havent been. I am curious to visit though madami ang nagsasabi ng bad reviews about it from hindi maayos na pagaalaga sa mga hayop until sa maintenance of the place. One of my friends said not ideal din to bring kids especially toddlers so hindi ako talaga gaanong convince to visit the place.
