Weight loss.

Hi mamas, I'm currently going in week 12 soon. Also I'm on duphaston. I haven't been gaining any weight, should this be a concern? In fact i lost 2kg now 😣

Hello! Don't worry too much about it :) I lost 6kg in the first trimester, first 2kg lost in the first week - not super severe vomiting but I just couldn't eat much at all. Was also on max dose of progesterone pills if that had any effect. As long as baby is OK and growing fine, gynae will also tell you not to worry ☺️ take care mama!

Ah just to add on, do make sure you eat more nutritious things now that you're moving into second trim. If you can't eat much, try to pack nutrients into whatever you can stomach! ❤ Eg warm milk, veg, protein, fruits just to name some!

I didn’t gain any weight throughout preg and gynae is not at all concerned. As long as ur baby is growing, is good
