For a long time, I viewed self-care as a luxury and something that I didn’t think I needed. Getting pampered and hanging out were all things I loved to do, but for many years these were pushed to the side. Excuses like being too busy for self-care, or thinking self-care wasn’t for me, meant that I ended up only focused on things I considered ‘essential’. Eventually, the pressure of family stresses, and other issues built up and I was diagnosed as PCOS patient last 2018 I wasn't living a healthy lifestyle not until this year. I learn to be concern on myself that I went to a low carb program so that I can get pregnant waiting for many months and last month I found out that I am pregnant and I was so thrilled and I realized when to prioritize to take care of yourself everything will fall into places. Loving yourself can feel so much harder that loving others but loving yourself is a great step to your self-care. Now for me, self care is no longer a luxury it is now my priority so that i can still love the people around me and this little creature inside of me. ♥️
