Super Mum

Hi mama, first off - relax. Feeling relaxed and happy helps in milk let downs. To improve your milk supply, many mothers have found that going on a nursing holiday helps to improve their BM supply - this is where you do nothing but drink plenty of water, eat well, binge watch your fave Netflix shows and keep latching on demand :) Other methods can be found here: https://kellymom.com/hot-topics/low-supply/ Another reason for baby gagging and his milk aversion could be a forceful let down. You may read more about it here: https://kellymom.com/bf/got-milk/supply-worries/fast-letdown/

Glad to know I need to do nothing. But do I still need to pump? Yes, I used to have forceful letdowns until I did block feeding on both breasts. He will turn away whenever that happens. Really sad when he don't want to latch anymore but I'm so happy he wants to now 😄
