SGH is generally quite well-regarded for maternity, the midwives and nurses get a lot of praise for being attentive and genuinely caring, and I heard one mum mention a nurse actually held her hand through the epidural when she got nervous, which I thought was really sweet. Fathers are allowed in the delivery room, which is reassuring, and the delivery rooms themselves are apparently quite spacious. The one trade-off people flag is that there's no en-suite washroom in the delivery room, so that's something to be mentally prepared for. Overall the feedback leans positive, especially if your OB is based there, continuity of care with your own doctor makes a real difference.
