Having a very bad flu now, currently week 14.

Hello ladies, is it ok to take panadol for flu now thats not prescribed by doctor? Sore throat, cough and flu getting worse, nose had slight blood a moment ago... and just realised from Google that flu can be dangerous for a pregnant mom. Pls advise ? Ill be visiting doc tmr, first time mom to be here!

You can only take normal panadol. I fell sick when I was pregnant too. Go see a doctor, they will prescribe you medicine which are safe for you. You need to rest a lot. Recovery will be slower cos some of the medicine prescribed maybe too mild and won’t be so effective.

Normal Panadol only. Not those with added medication for flu or cough. Drink lots of water and can try honey to sooth throat.

My doctor advised me to have Paracetamol
