Vitamins for conceiving/ovulation
Hi ladies, can anyone share any good multivitamins for those who are trying to conceive and to trigger ovulation naturally? Thanks!

hello, i know i am late but just wanted to share that I take naturelo multivitamins. In multivitamins, I look for brands that use methylfolate instead of folic acid. Folic acid is the synthetic form of methylfolate, and is therefore less efficiently converted and absorbed. If I'm not wrong, 44% of women have a genetic mutation in the MTHFR gene, which leads to an inability to process folic acid or to efficiently process it. Most brands that you'll find in sg stores, like unity/watsons/guardian, don't meet my own requirements for multivitamins and they all use folic acid instead of methylfolate. So I turn to Iherb, which has a wider range of products and brands. I chose naturelo because it met my requirements and it was also much cheaper and affordable. If you're interested, you can refer to this website for recommendations on supplements: https://www.itstartswiththeegg.com/ It's by this lady named, Rebecca Fett. Her background is in biochem and molecular biology. She had to go through IVF and she did alot of research into improving egg quality and ovulation frequency. other things you could look at when looking for multivitamins are what type of minerals it is using and how much of it is in per serving. For example, iron should be 18mg per day (if not trying to conceive) and 27mg per day(if trying to conceive). The type of iron used should NEVER be ferrous sulphate. It's the cheapest form of iron and it is the least efficiently absorbed form of iron. It also cause gastric issues. (Just found out a lot of prenatal milk uses this) You should look for are ferrous bisglycinate or heme iron. There are others but I can't remember. anyways, I get all my supplements from Rebecca Fett's list of recommendations and it has worked out really well for me, even when I wasn't trying to conceive and was just trying to live healthy haha. My ovulation cycle was previously irregular and long but after taking these supplements, changing my diet and exercising, it became shorter and really regular. I learned alot from her book too, so you can consider reading it.

If you’re irregular, i heard Ovaboost is good. But don’t bother if you have regular period.
