seperation anxiety is tough. but they will manage it. this is the same question i asked here when sending my child to childcare at 18months and seeing her in tears to and back from school. But now she is happy and love school so much. different child adapts differently but i send her 1 week halfday and 1 week until after nap time. then 3rd week drag a little longer. she cant sleep without me but she did it perfectly well once she adapt. they say once u pass ur kid to the teacher, leave from their sight. cuz it will be harder for the teachers if u remain while they try to coax your child. cuz ur child will see u and will wan to go to u.

I didn’t do much to deal with separation anxiety. I just continue to go work and do what I do daily. I let my son go to school half day for one week. After that, we put full day. My son is able to adapt to school well after around 3 weeks. Every kids are different. Some adapt faster. Some slower. Don’t rush them. Just stay positive. Kids can feel mommy’s emotion. As long as you’re positive, your kid will be okay with school too.
