I'd honestly be more cautious with personal contacts unless they come with solid track records from people you really trust, because you never really know their hygiene standards or training. With a proper salon or service like Pamper Me Jamu, at least there's accountability and they should follow safety protocols, especially if you're breastfeeding or still in confinement. My friend used them during her confinement and felt safer knowing it was a proper establishment, but of course do check their reviews and ask what oils or products they use before you book.
Pamper Me is pretty reputable! WSQ certified therapists, good reviews, and easy to switch therapist if you don’t click. Personal jamu contacts can be just as good (sometimes even better) if you get a solid rec, and usually cheaper too. Main downside is no backup if they cancel. So really depends on whether you prefer structure or personal touch!
