It's up to personal preferences. There is not right or wrong for this. For me i didn't do in both pregnancies as i wasn't feeling very good (emotionally) and during my second confinement, i was busy with handling my elder child. The only difference i see from people who did the massage is, their post natal belly shrink much faster due to the excess wind which have been expelled. If you didn't do this time round, no worries. Just focus more on core muscles exercise to tone up the tummy area. When did you give birth? Natural or c sect? I did massage for 7 days. Purpose is to get rid of wind from body and ofcourse slimming. How come this time you don't want to do?
