Anyone experience iron deficiency and gynae recommended iron transfusion at week 35?

I didn’t undergo iron transfusion but I had iron deficiency during pregnancy, even till before delivery. My gynae asked me to take iron supplements daily and I had to take blood test to track my iron level every week.

Me ! Gynae informed if after taking oral pill and my blood is still low , will have to do iron transfusion . Taking my blood test next week , hopefully there’s improvement to my blood count 🥲

finger cross... jia you! gynae suggested taking iron pills with vitamin c (absorb in water type) for body to better absorb the iron... hopefully it gets better in the next test :)
