Don know wat to do

I’m working as a engineer (My job require me to go to site to do testing like walk around & climb ladder). I’m currently less than 3 mth preg..for the past 1 month 2 colleagues from my team left, we only left 3 staffs & have to cover more work now. My boss also promoted me but i didn’t inform him about my pregnancy because that time is less than 3mth. But recent checkup gynae said i do have slight blood clot inside (动胎气) so he increase my duphaston & need to bed rest for 2 days. This is my 2nd pregnancy & is only less than 8mth apart from my 1st one. I don’t know i should inform my boss about it now because 1st: it’s still less than 3 mth, 2nd: we already short of manpower i suppose to help them, but i’m also very worried about my bb. And it’s also like i just came back from my confinement on Feb this yr lol don’t know how should i inform them too..I really don’t know what i should do now..thanks for spending time reading #pleasehelp

You probably have to decide whether you want to be superstitious and dun say coz haven 3 mths or what. I would have told my supervisor. For me mine is a desk bound job but i told my boss i was preggy when i knew about it.

suggest to inform your boss too. I'm also working on site which require me to go for site walks at construction site but when my boss knows that I'm pregnant, she asked me to stop going for site walks.

Agree to inform your bosses. I informed mine even though it was only 7 weeks as I need her to know I am having a hard time with morning sickness.

yes inform your boss for the most important reason: your health and pregnancy. less than 3 months old reason is just a pantang thing.

Thanks all for reading & ur reply. My boss currently covid positive so I will find a time to talk to him once he is back.

I guess you have to decide whether your work is more important or your baby n health is more important.

Inform boss so they can arrange alternative for you, which will help both of you.

suggest that you tell your boss so arrangements can be made; don’t risk it :)
