Can husband be in the same room during csection

KKH, for A class patients, only allow husband to be in the operating room with you. However, all emergency csect (subsidize or A class) they don’t allow husband to be inside. Parkway east hospital whether planned or emergency csect, husband allowed to be with you.

I was schedule for normal delivery… then last min to emergency c sect… but my husb was with me! My gynae allow him to enter.. but NUH im not sure abt SGH..

Emergency c section cannot but elective yes. I had 2 elective csects at Parkway East n hubby cld be with me. Shld be the same for other hospitals too.

Had emergency c-section on Dec 2023 as a NUH private patient, my husband was there throughout

Emergency dont allow. I rmb my hub wait outside and come in when bb is out
