Perimenopause?

I’m a week earlier, there’s a little bit of spotting. Sigh, is this the beginning of menopause? I’m 40 this year. Not sure why, I’m feeling kind of emotional about this. Anyone with similar experience? Can someone please recommend a doctor or health screening for checkup? Feeling lousy about myself 😔
