Eh don't worry lah, it's actually quite normal, a few of us in my mummy group didn't lose our mucus plug until very close to labour or even during, and some didn't have the dramatic "signs" everyone talks about until things actually started moving fast. My friend carried hers right until induction at 40 weeks and everything turned out fine, so your body will do what it needs to do in its own time. The on-and-off contractions you're having are your body getting ready, even if it doesn't feel like much is happening yet!
