Hi I’m a subsidised patient at KKH. I know the detailed gender scan will be on our 20th week.
However, I’m also aware that private gynaes can usually check baby’s gender on the 16th week onwards.
I’d like to ask recommendations on any private gynae that allows one-time check to check baby’s gender. I’m currently 16 weeks.
Once we know baby’s gender, we’d like to do a small gender reveal between myself, husband and our 4 year old son. We’d like to make a small staycation and let our 4 year old son cut a small gender reveal cake. He’s our precious firstborn so we want to find out the gender with him..
However if I wait til my 20th week, husband may not be able to take leave for a staycay due to the nature of his job. He can take leave 2 weeks before only.
So yes… thought of going to a private clinic to do an early gender check and go for an early staycay.
