Sugar control during pregnancy

Hi! I'm pregnant w my 3rd child. However after the 2nd one, diabetes seems to follow me till now. I had gdm during my 2nd pregnancy, and had to induce on 38 weeks due to baby being on larger side. However, I wish not to induce and yet try normal labour. Any advices on how to keep my sugar level on track? I'm taking Metformin for now.
