discharge during pregnancy

Hi, i’m in my first trimester and i’ve yet to go for my 1st gynae appt and lately i’ve been having white, creamy discharge. Is this normal or i should be worried? No sign of cramping or blood noted. Any tips that i can do to avoid discharge during pregnancy? are brown and yellow early discharge red flags?
